Bobby Barbers Parak is an action movie starring Phillip Salvador as the late DILG Secretary and Senator Robert ‘Bobby’ Barbers when he was still a cop.
Produced by Viva Films and directed by Augusto Salvador, this Phillip Salvador film also features the special participation of Alfredo Lim as himself, as Gen. Alfredo Lim.
At the start of the movie, Bobby was still an ordinary citizen in Surigao but is always in trouble. To avoid more trouble, his parents sent him to Manila, where his uncle has convinced him to be a cop.
He was then enlistment in the Manila Police Department (MPD) and has solved various crimes and arrested corrupt police officials.
But aside from being a tough cop, Barbers is also a good friend and has compassion for the people around him. And because of his good performances, he was promoted to Colonel and played an important role in the elimination of several notorious drug traffickers.
This movie also earned Phillip Salvador a FAMAS Best Actor award and FAMAS Best Supporting Actor award for Herbert Bautista.
