Afuang Bounty Hunter Movie is based on the true-to-life story of Abner Afuang, former mayor of Pagsanjan, Laguna when he was still a cop.
Produced by Viva Films and directed by Mike Relon Makiling, this action drama film earned the Best Child Actress FAMAS nomination for Glaiza Herradura.
Afuang Bounty Hunter Movie Plot
At the start of the movie, a group of armed men robbed a house and killed the husband, and escaped. Shortly, Makati police detective Abner Afuang hunted them down one by one. Later, he also arrested different kinds of criminals that led him to be called a bounty hunter and received tons of commendations.
However, a very influential Mr. Larry Glorietta (Eddie Garcia) who is involved in illegal activities hates Afuang for not accepting bribes money from him.
He used his power and money and Afuang was relieved from his post despite his good performance in his duty. Afuang went on a hunger strike and is determined to defend himself and protect his family.
