Considered as one of the best Filipino period noir thrillers in recent times, the film depicts the life and times of gang leader Arturo Porcuna who rises through the Manila underworld in the 1960s until his murder.
This is the story of how a man’s rise to fame became also his downfall. The life and times of the gangland during the bleak post-war Manila are shown vividly in the picture.
