Unofficially Yours Movie stars John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin and is about a boy and a girl who had a one-night stand. The boy falls in love with her, but the girl did not take it seriously.
Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, this blockbuster romantic comedy film was the third highest-grossing Filipino film of 2012 and earned mostly positive reviews from movie critics.
Unofficially Yours Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, John Lloyd Cruz plays Macky Galvez, a dentist who loves cooking but became depressed after having a failed relationship.
On the other hand, Angel Locsin plays Ces Bricenio, a liberated young woman who is afraid to fall in love again and just focuses on her work as a reporter at the Manila Bulletin. The two first met while having a vacation in Bali and eventually had a one-night stand and no strings attached.
Later, they met again when Macky was hired as a reporter at the Manila Bulletin and Ces became her mentor. And although their one-time encounter is nothing for Ces, Macky took it seriously.
Shortly, Macky and Ces continued their sexual trysts with the agreement that there will be no commitments and that they should not fall in love with each other. But later, Macky began courting her and she falls in love with him but keeps on controlling her emotions. But for how long can she fight her feelings?
