Tayong Dalawa Movie stars Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.
Produced by Viva Films and directed by Laurice Guillen, this ninth and so far last Sharon-Gabby film earned several Best Actress awards nominations for Sharon from major award-giving bodies such as FAMAS and Gawad Urian Awards and eventually won FAP Awards Best Original Song for Rey Valera.
Tayong Dalawa Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Sharon plays Carol Yaptenco, a liberated and busy career woman and Gabby plays Tonchi Aureus, a simple all-around handyman who seems to be happy-go-lucky despite being a single father to a 4-year old daughter, with Naida (Bing Loyzaga) as the mother of his child and working as an entertainer in Japan.
On the other hand, Carol has a suitor Mike (Eric Quizon) who also works in the same company. One day, Carol’s coffee maker malfunctioned and Tonchi was hired to fix it. This started their getting along with each other, and eventually having a romantic but complicated relationship.
