One More Chance Movie stars John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo as young lovers Popoy and Basha who broke up after 5 years of a roller-coaster relationship.
Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, this blockbuster and critically acclaimed love story drama film is known for notable ‘hugot’ lines and won 9 out of 21 major awards nominations from various award-giving bodies, and has a sequel released in 2015 entitled “A Second Chance.”
One More Chance Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, John Lloyd Cruz plays Popoy Gonzalez, a civil engineer, and Bea Alonzo as Basha Eugenio, an architect. They have been dating for 5 years since their college years and until they are working in the same company. And although Popoy has been loyal to Basha, she starts to notice that Popoy is acting superior over her and is somehow dictating her life. One day, she got fed up broke up with him.
And although it really hurt both of them, Popoy tried to move on until he met bar singer Trisha (Maja Salvador) and they became lovers.
On the other hand, Basha met fellow architect Mark (Derek Ramsay). Living separate lives, Popoy and Basha had to continue working together to finish a project they started earlier. However, this led to more hurt to each other although they know that they still love each other.
