My Perfect You Movie stars Gerald Anderson and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, this romantic comedy film with a slight touch of drama is about a mentally ill, broken-hearted man and a bubbly woman who tries to help him fix his life.
This is the second movie of Pia Wurtzbach, following the 2017 movie, Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad with Vice Ganda and Daniel Padilla.
My Perfect You Movie Plot Summary
At the start of the movie, Burn (Gerald Anderson) buys flowers on Valentine’s Day and proposes marriage to his girlfriend Angel (Marlann Flores) but gets rejected because of his family background.
He is currently suffering from schizophrenia, a kind of mental illness that also caused the death of his mother. As his world turns upside down, he decided to escape from all his problems by driving to nowhere.
But because Burn was talking to his boss (Paolo O’Hara) while driving, he did not notice a pedestrian and hit a tree. He ended up in a resort named Happy Sunshine Camp, owned by Abi (Pia Wurtzbach), a cheerful woman whom he later fell in love with.
However, it was later revealed that she was only a product of his imagination and that his mental illness is getting worse. Burn was eventually cured, but will he be able to see Abi again?
