Love You to the Stars and Back Movie Plot Summary
In this JoshLia movie, Julia Barretto plays Mika, the daughter of Ricky (Ariel Rivera) and Michelle (Carmina Villaroel). When Michelle passed away, Ricky found a new love and Mika cannot accept it.
But before Michelle died, she told Mika aliens do exist and bring dead people to their world, which according to her is a better place than our Earth. Mika then ran away from home and drove alone to Mt. Milagros, in Calaca, Batangas.
On the road, Mika met the bubbly young man Caloy (Joshua Garcia) while she was answering the call of nature. Mika got mad at her but ran over his foot as she drove away. She got back and offered to bring him to the hospital. During the journey, they shared stories and fell in love. But as they enjoy each other’s company, Caloy admitted to her that he has cancer and just enjoying the last days of his life.
