Ikaw Lang Movie Plot
The start of the movie features the funeral of the mother of Celina (Vilma Santos), a school assistant librarian. There, she learned that she is pregnant and she later told about it to her boyfriend Alfred (Cesar Montano), who is a teacher in the same school.
The two married, but later Celina realized that Alfred and his mother Martha (Zeny Zabala) turned out to be psychotically abusive.
In one incident, Alfred thought he had accidentally killed Celina and threw her body into a river, where she is saved by a fisherman. Desperate for money, Celina robbed a bank all by herself, just before bank robber Dalton (Ronnie Ricketts), also attempted to rob the same bank. Later, the two became friends and Celina asked Dalton to help her in seeking revenge against Alfred.
