Ikaw Movie stars Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Ariel Rivera, as children of two families who treat each other as mortal enemies. Produced by Viva Films and directed by Joel Lamangan, this Sharon-Ariel movie has a FAMAS Best Actress Award nomination for Sharon Cuneta and Young Critics Circle Best Film award nomination.
Ikaw Movie Plot Summary
The movie starts in a town fiesta celebration, with song composer-singer Eric Razon (Ariel Rivera) and Dra. Anna de Guia (Sharon Cuneta), a surgeon, received their respective awards for their accomplishment in their fields. But apparently, Eric’s father (Rolando Tinio) is blaming Anna’s father (Tony Mabesa) who is a doctor, for the death of his wife. Since then, their families have started hating each other.
One day, Eric visited Anna’s clinic to apologize to his father. At first, Anna was not friendly to him, but when Eric coughed a lot, she examined him and recommend him to visit her Dr. Dale Austria, Anna’s suitor.
On the other hand, Eric has a manager Norma (Monique Wilson), who is always pushing him to write commercial songs instead of meaningful ones. Later, Anna learned that Eric has a chronic disease.
