I Will Survive Movie Plot Summary
In this family comedy musical movie, Maricel Soriano plays Cynthia, Dina Bonnevie as Louise, Judy Ann Santos as Mylene, and Eric Quizon as Mandy, their gay friend. The stars with the wedding of Ma’am Pearly (Pilita Corrales) to her fifth husband. The four friends were present at the event simply because since she is the adviser to their choral group. Each of them has separate interesting stories about their families.
Cynthia has an oversexed husband Greg (Jay Manalo) and they have a sexually active teenage son BJ (Richard Gutierrez). Louise is a former beauty queen who has a photographer husband, Manolo (Tonton Gutierrez), and they have a teenage daughter Peachy (Serena Dalrymple), who feels insecure about being compared to her. Mylene is a domestic helper in Qatar who has an unfaithful husband, Rudy (TJ Trinidad). Lastly, Mandy has a cop boyfriend but pretends to be a straight man when he is in front of his two adopted sons.
