Close To You Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, John Lloyd Cruz plays Manuel Soriano aka Nuel, and Bea Alonzo as Marian Hermosa. And because they are best friends since they were kids, Nuel calls Marian Bru while Marian calls him Palits.
On the other hand, Sam Milby plays Lance, Guerzon, the lead vocalist of a new rock band, and is also Marian’s classmate in grade school and her secret love. Meanwhile, Nuel also loves Marian but he is afraid that she might dump him.
Lance and his family moved to the US 10 years ago, and now he has a concert tour in the Philippines. Marian took this chance to follow him hoping that he will remember her.
Despite being jealous, Nuel accompanies her until she and Lance saw each other again and eventually became lovers. And now, Nuel is caught in the middle between telling Marian that he loves her or will stay silent and just accept that he is just her best friend.
