Can’t Help Falling in Love Filipino romance film stars the KathNiel love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, and is about two total strangers who accidentally got married legally.
Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Mae Czarina Cruz, this romantic comedy film is a follow-up to KathNiel’s blockbuster movie Barcelona: A Love Untold in 2016 and the first Pinoy movie to have a premiere night at United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Can’t Help Falling in Love Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Kathryn Bernardo plays Gabriela “Gab” Benedictos De La Cuesta, a young woman who has a blooming career in her job and is already engaged with her long-time boyfriend Jason Aguinaldo (Matteo Guidicelli).
On the other hand, Daniel Padilla plays Jose Ibarra “Dos” García González Jr, a happy-go-lucky young entrepreneur who had several relationships in the past but none of them were taken seriously.
The problem began when Gab is processing her papers for marriage and realizes that she is already married to Dos, whom she has never met before.
Gab asked help Dos to help her annul their accidental marriage. But in the process, Dos falls in love with Gab but he cannot tell it to her. On the other hand, Gab also starts to get confused about marrying Jason.
