Produced by Four Seasons Films International and directed by Mario O’Hara, this Nora Aunor movie earned Best Actress nominations for her in Gawad Urian Award and FAMAS, as well as Best Director and Best Supporting Actress for Anita Linda.
Bakit Bughaw ang Langit Movie Plot
In the movie, Babette Gomez (Nora Aunor), her parents, and older sister Lorie (Raquel Monteza) have just transferred to their newly-rented apartment.
There, she met their neighbors including Bobby (Dennis Roldan), a mentally unstable man but loves playing basketball. Bobby’s mother Luring (Metring David) is selling clothes and had to leave his son alone and her husband is already dead.
Babette’s mother Sofia (Anita Linda), who is a former actress bought some clothes from Luring. But instead of paying, she proposed to Luring that Babette would take care of Bobby while she is gone. Since then, Babette started to be attached to Bobby until she fell in love with him. Now, the conflict starts and the situation gets more difficult.
