Alone/Together Movie Plot
The film starts with Christine “Tin” Lazaro (Liza Soberano), a University of the Philippines Arts Studies major who works part-time as a museum guide in The Philippine National Museum. In one of her tours, Christine meets Rafael “Raf” Toledo (Enrique Gil), who is a biology student at the University of Sto. Tomas. They eventually started dating and fell in love with one another.
The story revolves around their relationship, Tin being smart and ambitious, while Raf is the total opposite of Tin’s character. Soon, their relationship began falling apart when Tin graduated from college. Afraid of losing her, Raf decided to propose but Tin refuses and breaks up with Raf for good.
After five years, Tin apparently having moved on with her life, is now in a relationship with Greg (Adrian Alandy). She went to an event with her boyfriend where she and Raf, now a professional doctor, met again. They agreed to meet each other some other time.
They decided to meet each other at the same place where they started their relationship. The two reminisced about their past relationship and Tin explained why she broke up with Raf. Raf then got a call from the hospital requesting his presence. He was accompanied by Tin, and Raf introduces Tin to his girlfriend Aly (Jasmine Curtis-Smith). Eventually, their relationship with their significant other did not work out, hence, the reconciliation of Tin and Raf’s relationship toward the end of the film.
