All About Love Movie stars John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, Luis Manzano, Angelica Panganiban, and Jason Abalos. Produced by Star Cinema, this romantic comedy-drama film features three love stories – Promdi (directed by Joyce Bernal); Kalesa (directed by Don Cuaresma); and About Anna (directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng), where John Lloyd Cruz won the 2007 Luna (FAP) Best Actor award.
All About Love Movie Plot Summary
In the first episode Promdi, Angelica Panganiban plays Kikay while Jason Abalos as Kiko. The two grew up together in the province as best friends. However, Kikay went to Manila for her studies and left apparently forgetting Kiko. However, she came back with low self-esteem after people she thought were her friends abused her. Kikay then realizes that Kiko loves her very much but she felt she is not worth his love.
In the second episode Kalesa, Anne Curtis plays Badong, a young woman who works as a coachwoman (kutsero), the former job of her father before he became paralyzed. On the other hand, Luis Manzano plays Wesley, a rich model but womanizer. The two first met when Badong accidentally bumped his expensive car. This started their cat-dog relationship until Wesley falls in love with Badong. But can she trust him enough?
In the third episode About Anna, John Lloyd Cruz plays Eric, a young man whose beloved girlfriend Anna passes away. On the other hand, Bea Alonzo plays Lia, a young woman whose fiancé has impregnated another woman. The two first met when Eric misplaced his voice tape about moving on and Lia found it. It turns out that they are just neighbors so they easily became friends. But can they love each other after being broken-hearted?
