100 Tula Para Kay Stella is a 2017 Philippine romantic film directed by Jason Paul Laxamana starring Bela Padilla and JC Santos.
It was produced under Viva Films. This is the first time Bela Padilla and JC Santos starring in a movie and was second with “The Day After Valentine’s (2018)” and “On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets (2019)”.
100 Tula Para Kay Stella Movie Plot
In 2004, Fidel Lansangan (JC Santos) and Stella Puno (Bela Padilla) met each other as freshmen college students in Pampanga pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
They became friends despite differences in their personalities; Fidel is an honor student with a speech impediment and loves poetry while Stella is a rocker with a tough and confident attitude who prefers to jam with her band rather than do her studies.
Stella discovering Fidel’s talent in singing and losing his stuttering through it, had him audition for joining the campus’ choir.
Fidel, in joining the choir, was able to overcome his shyness. Stella, on her ambition to be a recording artist, had various boyfriends as she pursues her way to the top. Stella, seeing Fidel get busy with their choir and their singing career, became hesitant already in asking for his help and ventilating her frustrations.
Fidel, drowned with his fantasies about Stella, during his leisure time and not being able to see her, began to write poems to express his love to her. Because Fidel does not have the guts to read these to her, he tries to finish 100 poems as he musters enough confidence to read his poems to her.
On the other hand, Stella was struggling, becoming hopeless, ran away from home, and had no one to run to. The story runs whether Fidel, as he finished his 100 poems expressing his love for her for the past four years, will still be able to read them to Stella and win her heart.
