T’yanak Movie Tiyanak movie stars Judy Ann Santos, Solenn Heussaff, and Tom Rodriguez and is about a childless woman who found an evil baby.
Produced by RSVP Film Studios and directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes, this Pinoy horror film is a reboot of the 1988 movie Tiyanak, starring Janice de Belen and also directed by Gallaga and Reyes, and is an entry to the 2014 Sineng Pambansa Horror Plus Film Festival.
T’yanak Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Judy Ann Santos plays Julie (the same name as Janice de Belen’s character in the original Tiyanak movie), a young woman living in Puting Bato town who suffered from three miscarriages and desperately wants to become a mother. On the other hand, Tom Rodriguez plays Mark, Julie’s adopted brother, and is the fiancé of Maddie (Solenn Heussaff). But unlike Julie, she does not want to have kids.
One day, Maddie found a newborn baby boy in the woods after she saw the aftermath of a horrific murder. She brought her home and Julie took it saying that the baby was sent by heaven to her and named him Angelo. However, Julie’s grandmother (Liza Lorena) disagrees saying it could be a curse. Later, several people were mysteriously killed including the wife of Jopeth (Sid Lucero). It turned out that Julie’s adopted baby is a tyanak.
