Sunod is a Filippino horror film and the only horror movie entry for the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival. It features Carmina Villaroel as a woman who decides to work in a call center to earn money for her daughter’s medical expenses.
However, she is haunted by the ghost that dwells in that building. The movie is directed by Carlo Ledesma and produced by Jaime Baltazar.
Sunod Movie Plot
Carmina Villaroel plays the role of Olivia, the distressed mother of her very sick daughter, Annelle played by Krystel Brimner. She has no choice but to take a job at a call center to sustain the hospitalization of Annelle.
Unfortunately, more problems arose as the facility is cloaked by a horrifying mystery. Kate Alejandrino plays a call center agent who becomes Oliva’s close friend. The company is headed by Karen Liboro played by Mylene Dizon whose wealthy family owns the property.
Olivia’s task is to answer phone inquiries. One night, a call turns out as an unchanging sound and later breaks out into a loud and horrible scream.
Then, a strange figure starts to haunt Olivia. The young ghost turns out to be Nerisa (Rhed Bustamante) who starts stalking Olivia. Nerisa has been trapped in the building for so long and Olivia unknowingly frees her spirit. Annelle also ends up being possessed by the dark spirit.

The movie does not have a big cast. They are Carmina Villaroel, Mylene Dizon, JC Santos, Kate Alejandrino, Krystel Brimner, Rhed Bustamante, and Susan Africa.
