Spirit of the Glass Movie stars Rica Peralejo, Marvin Agustin, Dingdong Dantes, Alessandra de Rossi, Paolo Contis, Ciara Sotto, and Drew Arellano are about a group of friends who were haunted by a ghost after they played Spirit of the Glass.
Produced by Canary Films and directed by Jose Javier Reyes, this Pinoy horror film won Best Achievement in Film Editing for Vito Cajili at the 2005 Young Critics Circle Awards.
Spirit of the Glass Movie Plot Summary
The movie starts with Mang Andoy (Cris Daluz) witnessing the killing of Dante (Marvin Agustin) by the men of Carlos (Mark Gil), several decades ago. At present time, Kelly (Rica Peralejo), Choppy (Dingdong Dantes), Cecille (Ciara Sotto), Anton (Drew Arellano); Myra (Alessandra de Rossi), Drue (Paolo Contis) are a group of friends who decided to spend their Holy Week at Kelly’s family ancestral house in the province.
Incidentally, the caretaker of the house is Mang Andoy. On Good Friday, the young adults along with Aries (Jay Aquitania), Kelly’s younger brother, and his friend decided to play Spirit of the Glass, despite Mang Andoy’s warning. Shortly, Dante’s ghost started to haunt them.
They later learned that Dante was killed because Carlos does not want him for his younger sister Auring (also portrayed by Rica Peralejo), the sister of Kelly’s grandmother who committed suicide.
