Shake Rattle and Roll XV Movie (SRR XV) stars an ensemble cast led by Erich Gonzales, JC de Vera, Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo, Lovi Poe, and Matteo Guidicelli. Produced by Regal Entertainment, Inc, this 15th and so far the last installment of the Shake Rattle & Roll trilogy horror movie series is an official entry in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival and earned 14 major awards nominations but did not win any single award.
Shake Rattle and Roll XV Movie Plot Summary
The first episode is directed by Dondon Santos and is entitled ‘Ahas,’ wherein a half-human half-snake Sarah (Erich Gonzales) is killing shoppers inside the Alegria Mall, owned by the family of Sandra Alegria (Erich Gonzales), Sarah’s twin sister. However, Sarah started to fall in love with a human Troy (JC de Vera). The story is inspired by a rumor or urban legend that there is a snake man inside Robinsons Galleria along EDSA.
The second episode is entitled Ulam and is directed by Jerrold Tarog. At the start of the segment, couple Aimee (Carla Abellana) and Henry (Dennis Trillo) and their young daughter moved into a mansion that once belonged to Henry’s grandparents. There, their housemaid Aling Lina (Chanda Romero) served them food with unusual ingredients that would later turn the couple into monsters and will kill each other.
The third episode is entitled Flight 666 and is directed by Perci M. Intalan. Here, Dave (Matteo Guidicelli) travels from Manila to Zamboanga via Air Flight 666, wherein his ex-girlfriend Karen (Lovi Poe) is one of the flight attendants. His fellow passengers include band members Eli (Yael Yuzon) and Gino (Khalil Ramos), and TV show host Tim (Kim Atienza). During the flight, a woman gives birth to a baby monster (tiyanak) who attacked the passengers.
