Shake Rattle and Roll XII Movie Plot Summary
Directed by Zoren Legaspi, the first episode is entitled ‘Mamanyiika’ which literally means ‘mother doll.’ Abel (Ricky Davao), his wife Gail (Jackie Lou Blanco), and their children Ara (Shaina Magdayao) and Abigail (Elijah Alejo) are on their way home on a rainy night inside their car.
The couple is arguing and Gail got off the car and was hit by a passing truck and died. Later, Abigail found an old doll and it terrorized their family.
Directed by Topel Lee, the second episode is entitled ‘Isla,’ wherein three friends Andrea (Andi Eigenmann), Ces (Kristel Moreno), and Belle (Regine Angeles) went on a vacation on a remote island.
Upon arrival, they learned from Ray (Rayver Cruz) that his girlfriend (Nina Jose) earlier went missing on the same island and was never found. Shortly, Andrea also went missing and it turned out that a male “engkanto” abducted her.
Directed by Jerrold Tarog, the third episode is entitled ‘Punerarya.’ Here, Dianne (Carla Abellana) works as a part-time tutor for Ryan (Nash Aguas) and Sarah (Anna Vicente), the children of Carlo Gonzales (Sid Lucero), the owner of the funeral parlor where the family also lives. It turned out that the family’s butlers Aludia (Odette Khan), Simeon (Jess Evardone), and the secretary Anna (Gaby de la Merced) have unusual activities.
