Shake Rattle and Roll XI Movie (SRR XI) stars an ensemble cast including Ruffa Gutierrez, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Maja Salvador, Rayver Cruz, Zoren Legaspi, Iya Villania, Julia Clarete, Jennica Garcia, and Mart Escudero.
Produced by Regal Entertainment, Inc, this 11th installment of the Shake Rattle & Roll trilogy horror movie series won the Best Makeup award for Noel Flores at the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Shake Rattle and Roll XI Movie Plot Summary
The first episode is entitled ‘Diablo’ and is directed by Rico Gutierrez. Here, Maja Salvador plays Claire, an intern doctor whose family was murdered by thieves. One night, she is assigned to treat a young girl (Sam Bumatay) who allegedly is infected by a deadly flu virus. However, the young girl turned out to be being possessed by a demon. Later, Fr. Ronnie (Mark Anthony Fernandez), Claire’s ex-boyfriend will try to help her.
The second episode is entitled ‘Ukay-Ukay’ and directed by Don Michael Perez, Kayla (Ruffa Gutierrez), and Harold (Zoren Legaspi) are engaged and are planning for their wedding. One day, Kayla bought a slightly used wedding dress. However, the said wedding dress used to be owned by Lucia (Megan Young), whose boyfriend married another woman. It also has a curse and has been killing people related to Kayla’s father.
The third episode is entitled ‘Lamanglupa’ and directed by Jessel Monteverde, Sheila (Jennica Garcia), her boyfriend Ryan (Mart Escudero), and her friends Chari (Bangs Garcia), Archie (Rayver Cruz), Lia (Iya Villania), and twins Kiko (Felix Roco) and Pong (Dominic Roco) went on a camping trip. Shortly, the twins destroyed an anthill not knowing it is the house of lamanglupa. Later, the little creatures seek revenge.
