Produced by Regal Films and Good Harvest Unlimited Inc and directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes, this 3rd Shake Rattle and Roll trilogy horror movie is an official entry to the 1991 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Shake Rattle and Roll III Movie Plot Summary
In the first episode entitled “Yaya,” Tanya (Kris Aquino), her baby daughter Jane, and housemaid Virgie (Mae-Ann Adonis) have just moved into a new house in a remote village, and her mother-in-law Lydia (Rosemarie Gil) visited them.
One night, a power failure occurred and Virgie warned Tanya that someone will take her baby away. Later, Tanya and her friend Chuck (Ogie Alcasid) had to face the evil ghost (Lilia Cuntapay).
In the second episode entitled “Ate,” Rosalyn (Janice de Belen) learned that her older sister Rowena (Gina Alajar) has passed away in their province.
Shortly, she learned that Rowena was transformed into a zombie by a cult leader Dr. Redoblado (Subas Herrero), and his wife (Armida Siguion-Reyna). Rosalyn later learned that the only way to stop Rowena is to bring her back to her grave. But she also needs to kill Dr. Redoblado.
In the third episode entitled “Nanay,” Maloy (Manilyn Reynes) and her friends including Sally (Candy Pangilinan) went on a field trip on a beach. Sally found a strange egg and shortly, she was killed by an unknown sea creature.
Maloy unintentionally brought the strange egg to their dormitory. But later, she learned that the egg belongs to an Undin, a water-nymph sea creature that kills people who disturb them and steal their eggs away.
