Segunda Mano Movie stars Kris Aquino, Dingdong Dantes, and Angelica Panganiban. Produced by Star Cinema and AgostoDos Pictures and MJM Productions and directed by Joyce Bernal, this suspense horror thriller movie won 2 out of 29 major awards nominations, including a FAMAS Best Supporting Actress award for Angelica Panganiban and Best Actor awards for Dingdong Dantes at the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Segunda Mano Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Kris Aquino plays Mabel Domingo, an antique shop owner and the only living daughter of Adela Regalado (Helen Gamboa). Mabel’s sister Marie died of drowning when she was only seven years old and her ghost is frequently haunting their house. On the other hand, Angelica Panganiban plays Mariella, the wife of Ivan Galvez (Dingdong Dantes) and was mysteriously killed and her ghost is now seeking justice.
Mabel later met Ivan, who has a young daughter Angel (Sofia Mallari) with Mariella, who left Ivan for Owen (Rico Blanco). Mabel and Ivan fell in love with each other, Mabel treats Angel like her own daughter. But shortly, Mariella’s ghost began haunting Mabel and killing people close to her and Ivan. It was revealed that Ivan killed Owen and Mariella by pushing her car into the lake. And yes, a second-hand red bag also played an important role in this movie.
