Produced by MAQ Productions and Serafim Productions and directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes, this Tagalog horror movie is about a woman who had a chance to have a deeper understanding of how Aswang lives.
Sa Piling ng mga Aswang Movie Plot
The movie starts in November 1999, when Joshua (Cogie Domingo) was killed by an Aswang (human monsters that eat humans) in Panitan, Capiz, Panay Island, where he and his friends had a vacation. But because no one can explain what really happened, his older sister Marines Villanueva (Maricel Soriano) decided to go to Panitan all by herself to search for the truth.
On the other hand, Zenaida (Manilyn Reynes) is a local school teacher who accompanied a group of high school students including Justin (Janus del Prado) who will make research about Aswang.
Marines met Zenaida, and she and the students slept at the house of Lola Gunding (Gina Alajar), who incidentally is the Queen of the Aswang. She also met Army Capt Gerald Morales (Gardo Versoza), who will help her and Zenaida escape from the Aswang family.
