Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Chito S. Roño, this Pinoy horror film is a remake of the 1974 movie of the same title directed by Celso Ad. Castillo.
Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Lorna Tolentino plays Barbara, the older sister of Ruth (Dawn Zulueta), a spoiled brat who always gets what she wants. Barbara meets Nick (Tonton Gutierrez), and they eventually fell in love with each other. However, Ruth also met Nick and she likes her too. She threatens to commit suicide if he does not marry her.
And because Barbara loves Ruth so much, she requested Nick to marry Ruth and the latter reluctantly agreed. Barbara left the country and the couple had a daughter Karen (Antoinette Taus).
Several years later, Ruth committed suicide after she realized that Nick really never loved her and suspects that he was having an affair. Barbara returned to the country to mourn her loss. But shortly, Ruth’s ghost started to haunt everyone and used the body of Karen to scare Barbara. It turned out when Barbara was away, Ruth engaged herself in witchcraft and learned that she can still come back even after death.
