Ouija Movie stars Judy Ann Santos, Jolina Magdangal, Iza Calzado, Rhian Ramos, and Desiree Del Valle and is about five women who played with the Ouija board and set free an evil ghost.
Produced by GMA Films and Viva Films and directed by Topel Lee, this Pinoy horror film won 7 major awards from various award-giving bodies including a Best Actress award for Judy Ann Santos at the 2008 Pasado Awards.
Ouija Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Aileen (Judy Ann Santos) is a lawyer, and Romina (Jolina Magdangal) is a grade-school teacher and the daughter of Aileen’s father with his mistress.
Their cousins are Sandra (Iza Calzado) is an actress, and Ruth (Rhian Ramos), a medical student and has a boyfriend Gino (JC de Vera). The four of them reunited in their province in Camiguin after 20 years when their grandmother (Anita Linda) passed away.
After the burial, the four of them along with Sandra’s friend Lucy (Desiree Del Valle) played with the Ouija board they once played when they were still young girls.
And because their grandmother cannot help them anymore just like before, they accidentally released the spirit and started to haunt them and kill people they know. They later learned that the ghost is Magda, a young girl with snakeskin and was murdered by her twin sister Melda.
