Feng Shui Movie stars Kris Aquino as a woman who found a bagua mirror and receives good luck but brought terror to the people around her.
Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Chito S. Roño, this critically acclaimed Pinoy horror movie was the highest-grossing Filipino film in 2004 and won 4 major awards including the Best Child Actor award for John Manalo and Best Child Actress award for Julianne Gomez at the 2005 FAMAS Awards. A sequel entitled Feng Shui 2 was released in 2014.
Feng Shui Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Kris Aquino plays Joy Ramirez, the wife of Inton Ramirez (Jay Manalo). The couple has two young children Denton (John Vladimir Manalo) and Ingrid (Julianne Gomez) have just moved into a new house. One day, she found a package that was left inside a bus.
When Joy opens it, she saw a bagua mirror which according to Chinese belief brings good luck to its owner. Joy then brought it home and hung it outdoor.
Shortly, Joy got promoted on her job and even won the grand prize at a grocery store and Inton’s career is also doing well. But later, her friends and its former owner died of a freak accident, Joy learned that their deaths were related to their zodiac signs and that the same thing also happened when Mendoza owned it. Feeling helpless, Joy decided to seek help from a Feng Shui expert and learned that the curse was brought by Lotus Feet.
