Dalaw Movie stars Kris Aquino and is about a woman being haunted by the ghost whom she initially assumed to be her dead husband after she got married again.
Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Dondon S. Santos this blockbuster Pinoy horror movie is an official entry in the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival and won a FAMAS Best Child Actor award for Maliksi Morales in 2011.
Dalaw Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Kris Aquino plays Stella, the wife of an abusive husband Danilo (Richard Quan). The couple has a young son Paolo (Maliksi Morales), but she only married him because her parents forced her and her true love is Anton (Diether Ocampo).
One night, they argued while inside their car and had an accident causing Paolo to die. Since then, Stella started to feel guilty and her “third eye” opened, and can somehow see ghosts.
Nearly 4 years later, Stella and Anton met again and eventually got married. But because Anton’s mother Milagros (Susan Africa) had a stroke, they had to move in with her. Shortly, the family experienced weird things and Stella believes that it was her ex-husband’s ghost. But later, she discovered that the ghost was Lorna (Karylle), the possessive ex-girlfriend of Anton whom he accidentally killed when she tried to commit suicide.
