Yesterday Today and Tomorrow Movie stars Maricel Soriano, Gabby Concepcion, and an ensemble cast. Produced by Regal Films and directed by Jun Luna, this drama film earned various Metro Manila Film Festival nominations and Maricel won the Best Actress award.
This Maricel Soriano is not to be confused with the 1986 movie with the same title, starring Vilma Santos, Gabby Concepcion, Snooky Serna, and Maricel Soriano.
Yesterday Today and Tomorrow Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Maricel plays Mariel Montes is the eldest child of Donald (Ronaldo Valdez) and the president of NBS, a huge family-owned TV network. She has two younger siblings Jacob (Jericho Rosales) and Selene (Solenn Heussaff) and is separated from her husband Garry (Gabby). The couple has a daughter Eunice (Eula Caballero), and Garry is already engaged with her girlfriend Charlotte (Carla Abellana).
Jacob and Selene are also working at NBS but Mariel treats Selene unfairly. Jacob is married to Lori (Lovi Poe) but he focuses more on his work, while Selene has a boyfriend Derek (Dennis Trillo). Meanwhile, Donald has a second wife, Agnes (Agot Isidro), who will later be linked to Derek.
The actual drama starts when a devastating earthquake struck Manila and the Montes family was led to unfortunate situations.
