Somewhere Movie is an action drama romance film of Rudy Fernandez and Lorna Tolentino.
Produced by Viva Films and directed by Romy V Suzara, this first Rudy-Lorna movie was serialized in Pilipino Komiks, a story by Carlo J Caparas, who won the FAMAS Best Story award for this film. This movie also led to their romance in real life.
Somewhere Movie Plot
At the start of the movie, famous singer Shirley Morena (Lorna Tolentino) held a benefit concert inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP), where Silvio Logarte (Rudy Fernandez) is one of the inmates and sang “Somewhere.” Silvio could not help but fall in love with her. He collected pictures of her and even had a tattoo of ‘Somewhere’ near his heart.
One day, an inmate (Bomber Moran) bullied Silvio for his collections of Shirley’s photos. They had a fistfight and Silvio beat him. As revenge, the inmate started a riot, and Silvio got wounded and killed the inmate. Later, Silvio successfully escaped from jail and even watched Shirley’s live concert. But how far can he go just to win her heart?
