Siargao Movie stars Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales, Jasmine Curtis. Produced by Ten17 Productions and directed by Paul Soriano, this surf love story drama film is about taking second chances and letting go and features the beautiful island of Siargao, known for being a wonderful spot for surfing.
It won 8 major awards including Best Supporting Actress for Jasmine Curtis and Best Director at the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Siargao Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Jericho Rosales plays Diego “Jigs” Punzalan, a rock band singer who decided to return to his hometown in Siargao after a video scandal of the band went viral.
He also has a mutual understanding with Abi Williams (Jasmine Curtis), whom he dedicates all his songs to. She loves Diego very much, but she cannot come with him to Manila because she prefers to remain as an island girl.
On the other hand, Erich Gonzales plays Laura Molina, a YouTube vlogger who traveled alone to Siargao as she tries to rediscover herself after she rejected the marriage proposal of her boyfriend, Mikey (Enchong Dee). Jigs and Laura met at the airport and shared wonderful moments together at Siargao.
Later, both of them decided to go back to Manila. But will they be together or will Jigs go back to Abi in Siargao?
