Sekyu is a 2016 Philippine drama film produced and directed byJoel lamangan under BG Productions International. It stars Allen Dizon, Sunshine Dizon, Melai Cantiveros, and Rez Cortez among others.
Sekyu Movie Plot
After its Philippine premiere last Sunday, November 15 at the Fisher Mall, Sekyu is slated to compete at the 21st Kolkuta International Film Festival (World Cinema section) that will be held at Calcutta, India.
Sekyu (The Guard) is a story about an ordinary and simple man who tries to live with his family in a less complicated manner but within the bounds of what is right and correct despite the temptation of doing otherwise.
It tells about a poor but honest security guard (played by Allen Dizon) who accidentally kills his wife and later gets involved in a robbery that sends him to jail. He co-stars with an ensemble of good actors like Sunshine Dizon as his wife, Rez Cortez, Melai Cantiveros Raquel Villavicencio, Jim Pebanco, Kristoffer King, and Solomon Mark de Guzman.
