Saan Nagtatago ang Pag-ibig is a love story drama starring Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and Tonton Gutierrez as a mentally disoriented person.
Produced by Viva Films and directed by Eddie Garcia, this Vilma-Tonton film is serialized in Tagalog Klasiks and story by Gilda Olvidado and won 9 major awards out of 12 nominations.
Saan Nagtatago ang Pag-ibig Movie Plot
At the start of the movie, Estella (Vilma Santos) learned that she is pregnant with her boyfriend Ric Diaz (Ricky Davao). And although Ric loves her very much, he cannot marry her because her rich, elitist grandmother Doña Pacing (Alicia Vergel) will not give his inheritance unless he finishes his law studies first.
In addition, Carmen (Gloria Romero), Ric’s mother, and sister Zeny (Cherie Gil) also want a part of Ric’s inheritance. To solve the problem, they suggested that Estella be married to Val (Tonton Gutierrez), a retarded young man and Ric’s half-brother.
Estella initially refused but she later agreed. This movie is also known for Vilma’s famous line, “Si Val! Si Val! Si Val! Palagi na lang siya ang may kasalanan. Si Val na walang malay!”
