Padre de Familia Movie stars Superstar Nora Aunor and Coco Martin, who conceptualized the story and is the co-producer. Distributed by Star Cinema and directed by Adolfo Alix Jr, this Nora-Coco family drama indie film was partly shot in Malaysia.
At the start of the movie, Aida Santiago (Nora Aunor) and her children including Noel (Coco Martin) are having dinner with the grandmother Lola Eva (Anita Linda) and were discussing Noel’s journey to Malaysia as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker). When he arrived there, he met Pia (Julia Montes) and they had a romantic relationship.
Ben (Joel Torre), the father of the family left them and Noel acted as the head of the family. The conflict started when Aida met a young man and fell in love with him. In addition, she has not been using Noel’s salary where it should go and Noel’s aunt Ramona (Rosanna Roces) discovers it.
