Produced by Regal Films and directed by Maryo J de Los Reyes, this Nora-Maricel movie earned a FAMAS Best Actress nomination for Nora Aunor and FAMAS Best Child Actress award for Manilyn Reynes.
Minsan May Isang Ina Movie Plot
Ruth (Nora Aunor) is the daughter of Orlando, the second husband of Sara (Charito Solis), a very strict mother who has two daughters Noemi (Maricel Soriano) and Ding (Manilyn Reynes).
Ruth and Ding have the same father, while Noemi is Sara’s child with her first husband. Ruth is married to Allan (Bembol Roco) but they don’t have a child.
At the start of the movie, Noemi has just arrived in the country after living in the US for 16 years. She stayed with her mother, half-sister, and Ruth in their province, where they have a struggling printing business.
Meanwhile, Edmon (Ricky Davao) is the son of Sara’s business partner, whom she debt of gratitude. As payback, she allowed him to rape Ruth.
