Mano Po 2 Movie My Home is an all-star cast movie led by Susan Roces, Christopher De Leon, Lorna Tolentino, Kris Aquino, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Judy Ann Santos. Produced by Regal Entertainment and directed by Erik Matti, this Chinoy family drama film won several awards including a Golden Screen Awards Best Supporting Actress award for Judy Ann Santos, and Best Original Story for Lily Monteverde and Roy Iglesias at the 2003 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Mano Po 2 Movie Plot Summary
At the start of the movie, present Sol (Susan Roces) reminisced her past. Shortly, past Sol (Kris Aquino) is seen marrying Antonio Chan (Christopher De Leon), a Chinese businessman. Apparently, Sol’s parents don’t want Antonio for her, so the couple left and started their own family. In 1976, Antonio applied for a bank loan and started a business, which eventually became big. One night in 2002, Antonio was killed by robbers.
Antonio had two other women in his life – Belinda (Lorna Tolentino) and Lu Shui (Zsa Zsa Padilla). Antonio’s children with Sol are Janet (Carmina Villaroel), Grace (Judy Ann Santos), and Lean (Cogie Domingo). On the other hand, he has two children with Belinda – Ingrid (Alessandra de Rossi) and Erickson (Richard Gutierrez), and Rose (Karylle) with Lu Shui, whom Antonio married in China.
