Lando at Bugoy is a 2016 Filipino Drama film written and directed by Vic Acedillo. It stars Allen Dizon, Gold Azeron, Roger Gonzales among others, and was an entry to Cinemalaya.
Lando at Bugoy Storyline
Set in Camiguin Island, Mindanao, the film centers on 40-year-old Lando, a ‘lapida’ (gravestone) maker, and his 15-year-old son, Bugoy. They were both called in by the high school principal because Bugoy has not been reporting to his classes.
Desperate, Lando tries everything to persuade his delinquent son to go to school. Then Bugoy changes his mind but on the condition that his father, a high school drop-out, would return to school as well.
Bugoy was surprised when Lando got himself enrolled and became the laughingstock of the entire school. Amidst the struggles between father and son, an unexpected event changes everything.
