The film opens with Typhoon Haiyan, the worst storm to hit the world, juxtaposed with Lianne’s own devastation from a break-up.
Assigned to do a video feature on biking guided by JR, a forester who is himself in a bind whether to leave the country or not, Lianne is challenged to bike and journey into places and conditions she has never been before. Forced to confront wounds both internal and external, the film is a journey for her to find her own bearing in connecting with both the world and herself again.
