Kabisera Movie is a sociopolitical drama film starring Superstar Nora Aunor and Ricky Davao.
Produced by Silver Story Entertainment and Fire Starters Productions and directed by Arturo San Agustin and Real Florido, this Nora Aunor indie film is an official entry to the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Kabisera Movie Plot
Kabisera earned six nominations including Star Award Indie Movie of the Year; Indie Movie Director of the Year; New Movie Actress of the Year (Arra San Agustin); MMFF Best Picture, and Best Actress for Nora Aunor, who won the Star Award Movie Actress of the Year, tied with Vilma Santos for the movie ‘Everything About Her.’
At the start of the movie, the De Dios family – Mercy (Nora Aunor), her husband Tonying (Ricky Davao), a barangay captain, their five children, and relatives happily celebrated New Year’s Eve.
But while they seem to be a happy family, Tonying is involved in a shady business but no one in his family knows about it. Later, he was killed by masked men, and Mercy was forced to step up.
