Itoshi No Irene (Come On Irene) is a Filipino-Japanese romance film starring Seiji Fukushi, Yûsuke Iseya, and Aoba Kawai in the leading roles.
It was written by Hideki Arai and Keisuke Yoshida and directed by Keisuke Yoshida. The film was a manga adaptation and was produced by Star Sands, The Asahi Shimbun Company, and VAP and distributed by Star Sands and Viva International Pictures.
Itoshi No Irene Movie Plot
The film centers on Iwao Shishido, who at age forty suddenly leaves his rural village, but returns with a foreign bride during his father’s funeral.
