Produced by Viva Films and directed by Eddie Garcia, this Vilma-Boyet de Leon movie earned 7 major awards nominations and won 4 of them, and elevated Eddie Garcia to the FAMAS Hall of Fame for Best Director award.
Imortal Movie Plot
In this movie, Vilma and Christopher played several characters via three different generations – past, present, and future. At the start of the movie, they both have separate families. When their children grew up, they were also portrayed by Vilma and Christopher.
Nicolas (Christopher) and Alexandra (Vilma) met and eventually fell in love with each other. But because their parents did not agree, they parted ways.
Nicolas became a doctor, while Alexandra became a nun. When Alexandra’s mother died, she returned to her hometown and met Nicolas again. But because she and her sisters were kidnapped by NPA rebels, they got separated again.
Nicolas and Alexandra did not end up marrying each other. They had children (Vilma and Christopher again) with their respective spouses. This time, their children ended up marrying each other.
