Filipinas Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Armida Siguion Reyna plays Florensia Filipinas, a mother of 3 daughters and 3 sons – Yolanda Filipinas (Maricel Soriano).; Samuel Filipinas (Richard Gomez), Gloria Filipinas (Dawn Zullueta), Eman Filipinas (Victor Neri), Narciso Filipinas (Wendell Ramos), and Vicky Filipinas (Aiko Melendez). The father of the family passed away 10 years ago, Yolanda, the oldest daughter, gave up her dreams and took care of their mother.
Samuel, the oldest son, lives in the US with his own family, Eman is a communist rebel, while Narciso, the youngest son is a soldier. Vicky handles the family’s onion business, while Gloria is an OFW caregiver and is Florensia’s favorite. The conflict started when he decided to go back to the Philippines, and the problems of each of the Filipinas children. The entire movie tackles the different idealism of every Filipino and the value of a family in our society.
