Born Beautiful is a 2019 Filipino drama film directed by Perci M. Intalan and written by Juna Lana and Rody Rivera. It stars Martin del Rosarion and Paolo Ballesteros among others.
Martin Del Rosario won the Asian Television Awards’ Best Leading Male Performance-Digital prize for his stellar acting in the film. It was a sequel to the highly successful “Die Beautiful” where Ballesteros won the Gawad Urian Award for Best Actor.
Born Beautiful Plot
After the sudden death of her best friend Trisha, Barbs Cordero tries to go on with her life as a mortuary beautician at Happy Ending Funeral Homes. When another friend dies, Barbs tries to start a new life as a straight man named Bobby.
And this triggers a chain of events that leads her to the arms of Trisha’s ex-boyfriend Michaelangelo, her own ex-boyfriend Greg and a woman that barges into her life claiming that she is pregnant and Barbs is the father.
