Bituing Walang Ningning Movie Plot Summary
At the start of the movie, Dorina Pineda (Sharon Cuneta) is a poor young woman who is selling Sampaguita and idolizes famous singer Lavinia Arguelles. In fact, she spends money to buy magazines with articles about her, watches her concerts, and follows her almost everywhere. Lavinia has a boyfriend, Nico Escobar (Christopher De Leon), but she is blinded by fame and thinks that nobody can replace her.
Meanwhile, Dorina sings in a club and she likes to be a famous singer someday. Later, Nico discovers Dorina’s talent and helped build her singing career, and eventually became Lavinia’s toughest competitor. This Sharon Cuneta movie also earned her the 1985 Box Office Queen of RP Movies and 1985 FAMAS Top Female Box Office Star.
