Babaeng Hampaslupa Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Maricel Soriano plays Remedios, the eldest daughter of Nita (Liza Lorena) who has two younger daughters Eden (Janice de Belen) and Fe (Carmina Villaroel). One night, Nita left her children and lived with a younger man who impregnates her. Despite living in severe poverty, Remedios did not give up hope and did everything to support her two siblings.
But because there is not enough source of income in their province, Remedios decided to go to Manila and left her sisters at her friend’s house. However, Eden and Fe did not live together. In Manila, Remedios faced several challenges and did several odd jobs just to survive.
Later, she worked as a bus conductor and met Jimmy (Richard Gomez), a bus driver, and Edwin (Edu Manzano), her boss, and both of them like her. But what about her sisters? Can she still forgive her mother?
