Babae Movie is a family drama starring the film Superstar Nora Aunor and Judy Ann Santos.
Produced by Gem Communications and Premiere Productions and directed by Lupita Aquino-Kashiwahara, this Nora-Judy Ann movie earned several Best Actress nominations for Nora Aunor and Best Supporting Actress awards for Nida Blanca in FAP Awards and 1997 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Babae Movie Plot
In the movie, Beatrice Nakpil (Nora Aunor) or Bea is an architect who has a teenage daughter Alex (Judy Ann Santos) After Bea’s father Arman (Luis Gonzales) passed away, her mother Adora (Nida Blanca) decided to live alone instead of living with her. Bea is not married to Alex’s father and now has a husband named Ricky (Mark Gil).
Bea is dedicated to her profession, she easily got promoted. However, Ricky started to feel insecure. Meanwhile, Alex entered into a romantic relationship but her boyfriend Victor (Jao Mapa) is hurting her physically. Now, the fate of these women of three generations is starting to be connected with each other.
