The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin Movie stars Vice Ganda. Produced by Star Cinema and VIVA Films, this Wenn V. Deramas action comedy film is the sequel to the 2011 movie The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin and is an official entry to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival. It once became the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, with a total of P455 million in ticket sales, and won New Movie Actor of the Year for Richard Yap and Movie Child Performer of the Year for Bimby Aquino Yap at the 2015 Star Awards for Movies.
The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Vice Ganda reprised his role as Colonel Benjamin “Benjie” Santos VIII, the once humble hero soldier Private Benjamin. This time, he is set to face zombies who attacked their headquarters and were assigned under Gen. Wilson Chua (Richard Yap). But after committing an error, he was set for demotion. Instead, he was assigned to be a personal bodyguard of Bimbee Chua (James ‘Bimby’ Aquino Yap), Wilson’s young son.
It turns out that Bimbee is the only one who knows how to dismantle the bomb planted by terrorists led by Jan Jaranjan (Tom Rodriguez). In the process, Praybeyt Benjamin had difficulties dealing with Bimbee, as well as Misty (Rhed Bustamante), Wilson’s daughter and housemaid Gundina (Alex Gonzaga). But later, he discovers that Bimbee lacks attention and is deprived of love from his family.
