Of All the Things Movie stars Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez and is about two individuals who will fall in love with each other despite having opposite personalities and life principles.
Produced by GMA Films and Viva Films and directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, this romantic-comedy film won Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role (Musical or Comedy) for Regine Velasquez and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role (Musical or Comedy) for Aga Muhlach at the 2013 Golden Screen Awards.
Of All the Things Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Aga Muhlach plays Emil Arellano, a notary public attorney who is called Umboy because his office in the streets is under an umbrella. He finished Law but failed in the bar exams and his girlfriend (Miriam Quiambao) passed, but they eventually broke up.
He refuses to take the bar again, which led to a silent gap between him and his father (Tommy Abuel), who is a retired lawyer and a and law professor. Umboy also has an older brother Dan (Raymond Lauchengco), a balikbayan from the US, and a younger cousin Efs (Mark Bautista) who serves as his assistant.
On the other hand, Regine Velasquez plays Bernadette “Berns” Pamintuan, a professional documents fixer and the daughter of Mommy Susie (Gina Pareño). Berns first met Umboy when she needed a notary public, and later she invited him to be her “lawyer” for a case against a contractor.
And because Umboy fears being driven away from the streets by MMDA officials, he accepted the offer. Berns eventually “won” the case, and the two started to work together and get to know each other better. As the days go by, they started to like each other. But because Umboy does not agree with Berns’s work, can they end up being lovers?
